The Shed Experience

A Working Distillery. A Proper Feed.

Every seat in the house is a front-row seat to the making of it.

Settle in for smoked platters and generous pours in the shadow of the copper, or claim the deck when the fire pit’s cracking. This is liquid sunshine with a serious lunch menu attached.

Good Questions

Before You Head Up

Walk-ins are always welcome when there’s room, but the deck fills fast, especially Friday through Sunday. Booking takes thirty seconds and guarantees you’re not drinking standing up. Groups of eight or more should always book ahead.

Low-and-slow barbecue and boards made for sharing: platters of brisket, ribs, wings and sausage, charcuterie, baked brie and a proper salad or two. Big groups can pre-order the Shed Platter in their booking notes so it hits the table on time.

Wednesday 12–4 pm, Thursday 12–9 pm, Friday and Saturday 12–10 pm, and Sunday 12–6 pm. We’re closed Monday and Tuesday. Even the smoker needs a rest.

In most cases, yes. Pop your requirements in the booking notes, or call us on 0474 631 715 before you arrive and we’ll square it away with the kitchen.

Kids are welcome with their responsible adults, and well-behaved dogs are part of the furniture out on the deck. If you’re unsure, give us a bell before you head up.

Absolutely. Tastings run whenever the cellar door is open, and tours and barrel-charring demos run on select days. Mention it in your booking notes and we’ll set it up.

The Shed does birthdays, club visits and corporate days with equal enthusiasm, and the smoker scales up happily. Email [email protected] or call 0474 631 715 and we’ll sort the details.
